With SEARCH you find any song, artist, playlist, album or chart while you type, and put it straight into the queue or into one of your playlists. Is a song not in the catalogue yet? Request it with one click and it is fetched for you.

In this short film, we'll show you how to search in BackSound Stream.
Click SEARCH at the top left. The search panel opens on the right, over the queue.
Type a song, artist, playlist, album or chart. The results appear as you type.
ALL shows a few results of each kind. The filters show one kind, for example TITLES.
Click an artist, and you see all their songs, most played first.
The arrow takes you back to the search results.
The play button plays a song straight away. After that, the queue carries on where it was.
The plus button adds a song to the queue. You choose whether it goes to the top, or the bottom.
Click songs to select them. The plus button then adds them all at once.
Drag a cover onto a playlist on the left, and the songs are added to that playlist.
If we don't have a song yet, it says On request. Click the plus button, and we'll fetch it for you.
Please note: searching for songs is part of STREAM PRO. With STREAM, you search the ready-made playlists.

Questions and answers
What happens if a song is not available yet?
It shows On request. Click the plus button and the song is fetched for you, after which you can play it like any other song.
Can I search for songs with the STREAM plan?
Searching for single songs is part of STREAM PRO. With STREAM you search and play the ready-made playlists.
