How to schedule music and announcements

With the scheduler your music runs by itself: each block starts the playlists you choose on the days and times you set, for example every weekday from twelve to two. Announcements work the same way and play your own message between the songs, recorded or made with text to speech.

In this short film, we'll show you how to plan your music ahead with the scheduler and announcements.
Open the Control Center, and click Scheduler. The scheduler opens on the right.
You see the week of one room. Each block starts the playlists you choose by itself, on those days and at those times.
Click New Rule, or an empty slot in the grid.
Choose the room, the days, and the time. For example, every weekday from twelve to two.
Choose one or more playlists, and the volume. Then click Create.
You can drag a block, and make it longer or shorter at the bottom.
Announcements work the same way. They play your own message between the music, at the times you choose.
Give the announcement a title, and choose the room, the time and the days.
Choose a sound before and after. The play button lets you hear how it sounds.
No recording? Click Text to Speech, type what should be said, choose a voice, and click Make sound.
Click Create, and your announcement is in the grid.
Please note: the scheduler and announcements are part of STREAM PRO. With STREAM, you can add the scheduler for five euros a month.

Can I make an announcement without recording it myself?
Yes. Click Text to Speech, type what should be said, choose a voice and click Make sound.
Can I play different music at lunch and at dinner?
Yes. Make a block per part of the day: each block starts the playlists you choose on those days and at those times, per room.
Which plan includes the scheduler?
The scheduler and announcements are part of STREAM PRO. With STREAM you can add the scheduler for €5 a month.
